What Toronto Said provides an easy way to browse, and respond to, your fellow citizen's responses to the Core Service Review survey. Or, more officially:

To address Toronto's 2012 budget gap of $774 million, City Council launched a review of all of its services and implemented a multi-year financial planning process. This data set contains the responses to the open-ended questions on the Services Review Public Consultation Feedback Form from members of the public.

The survey was available from May 11 — June 17, 2011. Most responses were from City of Toronto residents, with a few from GTA residents for flavour. The data has been culled of any personal information. Responses violating city policies regarding discrimination or confidentiality were removed.

What Toronto Said was created by Brian Gilham, your friendly neighbourhood web developer and open data enthusiast. Have a question or concern? Give a shout.
